For these two it was love at first sight. Truly. Greg knew he would marry Logan the instant he met her while walking her dog in their beloved Van Buren Point. When they were finally married – it was fate!

The guys also got ready at the Omni, and then everyone headed off to the ceremony.
One of my favorite moments from getting ready was when Logan’s Dad came to see her for the first time – he was so happy, and I could see her mom crying a bit in the background!
Wedding Ceremony at St. Rosalia in Greenfield
The wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Rosalia church in the Greenfield area of Pittsburgh. This charming church provided a warm and intimate at`mosphere for Logan and Greg to exchange their vows. The ceremony was filled with love, and the happy couple couldn’t have asked for a more heartfelt start to their lifelong journey together.
Speaking of crying – Greg and his Dad were also criers, so the photo of them both emotional during Logan’s processional really got me! Loved that sweet moment! AND Greg’s two younger sisters looking at him at this time really brought this family moment together beautifully. They all love each other so much!
Group Photos on Mellon Green
Following the ceremony, the bridal party and guests gathered on Mellon Green, just outside the Omni Hotel, to capture group photos. The backdrop of the historic Omni William Penn Hotel and the vibrant cityscape of Pittsburgh created a stunning setting for these cherished moments. The Mellon Green provided the perfect outdoor space for creating lasting memories.
Talk about wedding color – the trees were still beautiful, and we were able to relax and have some fun together with their friends and family members. We got lots of fun wedding party photos – many of whom were in couples as well! I try to make sure to get couple’s photos on wedding days, since it’s nice to have when they’re all dressed up nicely!
Wedding Cocktail Hour in the Urban Room
The wedding cocktail hour took place in the art deco Urban Room, featuring black Carrara glass walls and a ceiling mural by artist Joseph Urban. This modern and chic space provided a delightful contrast to the classic grandeur of the Grand Ballroom. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails and appetizers in style, creating a perfect blend of old-world charm and contemporary flair.

The reception was held in the opulent Grand Ballroom of the Omni William Penn Hotel. This two-tiered ballroom, with antique crystal chandeliers and gold leaf railings, exuded elegance and grandeur. The couple, along with their guests, were surrounded by timeless beauty, making this evening a true fairytale. The Omni’s attentive service and spacious guest room accommodations ensured that Logan and Greg’s wedding night was nothing short of perfection.
Some of my favorite photos in the Grand Ballroom on their wedding day were new things that I tried! I headed upstairs to get a photo of Logan and Greg’s entrance from behind them on the balcony. It was worth it! LOVE the shot! I also played with flash a bit for an ethereal and elegant look to the first dance photos. Really dreamy!
