A Day Fit for a Princess
From the moment Erin began planning her wedding, she knew she wanted to feel like royalty. With a deep love for princesses and all things regal, Erin’s dream was to have a wedding where she could embrace that magical, queenly feeling. Knowing that, I made sure to incorporate a bit more elegant feel into her wedding day photos, so that she looked like a princess. We practiced this at the rehearsal the night before! The Grand Resort provided the perfect backdrop for this vision, with its elegant architecture, stunning grounds, and impeccable service. Seriously, the people that work at The Grand Resort were AMAZING!
The weather on Erin and Josh’s wedding day was absolutely perfect. The sun was shining, and a slight breeze added just the right amount of movement to Erin’s flowing gown from Bridal Beginning. The dress, a true masterpiece, was everything Erin had dreamed of. She had to have it specially tailored so that she could walk properly with the big hoop under the dress! The intricate detailing and luxurious fabric made her feel like a queen, and as she walked down the aisle, it was clear that she was living her princess fantasy.

Weddings are always filled with emotions, but Erin and Josh’s day had a few extra-special moments that stood out. Erin has always been very close to her father, and his excitement to watch his daughter get married was palpable. Their bond was evident in every glance and every step they took together. Erin said numerous times how her Dad is her best friend! You could tell!
Josh, on the other hand, was surrounded by his friends from Oklahoma, who had traveled far to celebrate with him. They were a fun bunch! The joy and support from both families and friends created an atmosphere of love and happiness that was truly infectious.

Shayne from Soiree by Souleret was the mastermind (and true Fairy Godmother!!) behind the flawless execution of the day. Shayne’s attention to detail and ability to turn Erin’s vision into reality was nothing short of extraordinary. From the grand entrance to the smallest decor details, everything was perfectly in place. Love working with her!
The beautiful floral arrangements by Sapphire and Lace added a touch of elegance and romance to the day. The lush, vibrant flowers perfectly complemented the grandeur of the venue, creating an enchanting atmosphere. It’s always a pleasure to see the team on wedding days – working hard moving those big floral arches and lighting the candles just perfectly!
The bridal party looked stunning, thanks to the talented team at Hous of Beauty. Leanne worked their magic to ensure Erin and her bridesmaids felt and looked their absolute best. The makeup was flawless, enhancing Erin’s natural beauty and adding that extra sparkle to her queenly appearance.
The Grand Resort Weddings – Beautiful Outdoor Golf Course Ceremonies
I always love a combination between an indoor reception at a beautiful ballroom and an outdoor ceremony in the sunshine. The Grand Resort was no exception! Sapphire and Lace set up a beautiful arch under a large shaded tree, and hung pretty singular roses from the tree branches. Although it was hot, the tree provided some shade for the wedding ceremony and the sunshine added a beautiful addition to the wedding photos – I can’t be mad about that!
A Reception to Remember
After the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration continued with a reception that was filled with laughter, love, and lots of dancing. The Bachelor Boys Band kept the dance floor packed all night long, playing a mix of Erin and Josh’s favorite songs. From the first dance to the last, the energy was high, and it was clear that everyone was having the time of their lives. Grand Resort weddings are jumping with a band in the building!
The delicious cake from Tasty Bakery was a highlight of the evening. Not only was it a visual masterpiece, but it also tasted as good as it looked. The flavors were a hit with all the guests, and it was the perfect sweet ending to a perfect day.
