Kaylee and Blake’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration of love, joy, and classic Pittsburgh charm — the kind of day you just know will be remembered forever. With a heartfelt ceremony at St. Peter Parish on the North Side and a stunning reception at the iconic Grand Hall at the Priory, every detail was full of meaning and beauty.
Getting Ready at The Priory Hotel
We began the day at the lovely Priory Hotel, tucked right next door to the reception space. This boutique hotel is such a hidden gem for wedding mornings — elegant, peaceful, and conveniently close! Kaylee got ready surrounded by her closest friends, with glam by the talented team at Glam to Go. She looked radiant in her Allure Bridals Ariel gown, which she found at the ever-charming Ellie’s Bridal Shop.
Ceremony at St. Peter Parish
Their ceremony at St. Peter Parish was truly moving. This historic church, located right on the North Side of Pittsburgh, created a timeless and sacred space for their vows. I loved capturing the way Kaylee and Blake looked at one another during the ceremony — so full of love and sincerity. Some of my favorite moments where when Kaylee walked into this beautiful window light during the Blessed Mother, and then after the ceremony when Kaylee and Blake did private vows up the beautiful spiral staircase in the church. It’s a hidden gem!
Portraits in Allegheny Commons Park
After the ceremony, we stepped across the street into Allegheny Commons West Park for portraits. This little green oasis is perfect for wedding day photos! The greenery was in full effect, and the sunlight filtered beautifully through the trees. It was a relaxed and joyful time for the couple to soak in their just-married glow.
Reception at Grand Hall at the Priory
Then it was time to celebrate at the breathtaking Grand Hall at the Priory. If you’ve never been inside, the space is a former church with soaring ceilings, stained glass windows, and dramatic architectural details that make it one of the most memorable wedding venues in Pittsburgh. It’s no wonder so many couples choose Grand Hall at the Priory weddings for their big day!
The hall was decorated with dreamy florals by The Farmer’s Daughter — soft, romantic, and perfectly seasonal for May. Their cake, of course, was from Prantl’s Bakery — a Pittsburgh classic! I always get excited when I see a Prantl’s cake at a wedding, because you know it’s going to be delicious.
Loyalty Entertainment brought the energy for the reception, and once the dance floor opened, it was packed! There was so much love and laughter in the room, and Kaylee and Blake were clearly having the best time with their favorite people. From their grand entrance to their final dance, the evening was full of heartfelt moments and great music.
The day was beautifully tied together with thoughtful paper details by Prettiest Pixel and sparkling jewelry from Brooks Diamonds. Guests were transported in style thanks to Molly’s Trolleys — another charming Pittsburgh touch that made everything flow so smoothly.
A Joy to Photograph
Kaylee and Blake were truly a dream couple — so warm, welcoming, and fun to work with. It was a joy to capture their love story and document a day filled with meaningful moments and heartfelt joy. If you’re planning a wedding at the Grand Hall at the Priory, Kaylee and Blake’s celebration is full of inspiration!
