As a Beaver wedding photographer, I get to witness so many personal and beautiful love stories—Frances and Will’s June wedding was one for the books. Rooted in deep family ties, faith, and tradition, their wedding day was the perfect blend of heartfelt ceremony and full-on celebration. From their first look to the final dance, it was a joy to capture every moment.

Getting Ready at the Church

Frances chose to get ready at First Presbyterian Church of Beaver Falls, the same place she’d later walk down the aisle. There was a sweet calmness in the air as she spent the early afternoon surrounded by her sisters, who also happened to be her glam squad. Meanwhile, Will was preparing nearby, tucked away in a quiet room at the church.

A Church Ceremony Full of Meaning

The sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church set the scene for a classic and emotional ceremony. Frances walked outside the church and entered through a rear door to preserve that powerful aisle moment with Will, who was visibly moved. Her grandfather, who also served as the officiant, led a touching service that included personal vows and a unity candle—a true celebration of two families and legacies coming together.

Portraits in Beaver Falls and Family Moments

After the ceremony, we gathered for formal family portraits. With a large, tight-knit family like Frances’s, there was no shortage of joyful combinations—from traditional groupings to sweet one-on-ones with grandparents. We also made use of the church’s greenery and architecture for some timeless portraits of the couple and their wedding party.

A Celebration to Remember at The Willows of PA

The evening continued with a reception at The Willows, just a short drive from the ceremony. If you’re looking for wedding venues in Beaver County, The Willows of PA is a stunning and flexible space with a great balance of elegance and comfort.

With around 200 guests in attendance, the evening kicked off with introductions, toasts, and a delicious dinner catered by The Willows themselves. Frances’s brother doubled as DJ, keeping the energy high all night long. After the traditional dances, the floor transformed into a vibrant party space, complete with lights, laughter, and a crowd of young guests ready to celebrate the newlyweds.

Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Future

One of the most touching elements of this wedding was the way family and legacy were woven into every part of the day. Will lives with his grandmother, who stepped in with love and pride as a mother figure throughout. The wedding date also fell on the birthday of his late grandfather, adding an extra layer of remembrance and reflection.

For Frances and Will, their wedding was more than just a day—it was the start of a life rooted in faith, family, and joy. From Beaver Falls to The Willows, every detail reflected the kind of love that’s been growing since they first met back in elementary school.
