One of the unique aspects of Fox Chapel Golf Club is its membership-based model. If you’re not already a member, fear not! You can still host your dream wedding here by having a member sponsor you. You will have to know someone who is a member, so that may narrow accessibility, but know that the club is not open to the public for events because it’s so. gosh.darn. beautiful.
Bride and Groom Getting Ready Suites at FCGC
Imagine preparing for your big day in a tiny hotel room – nope! At Fox Chapel Golf Club, both the ladies and gentlemen are catered to with spacious and elegant areas designed for getting ready. From the intricately decorated rooms to the stunning views outside, every moment spent preparing will be filled with anticipation and excitement. I especially love that in the ladies’ room there is tons of space for hanging dresses, moving around, hair, makeup, and a breakfast buffet. The guys have a great option with the other rooms nearby that are masculine and have a great energy for photos. Any couple getting ready at the Fox Chapel Golf Club will have beautiful ‘getting ready’ photos from their day!

Cocktail Hour on the Patio Overlooking the Golf Course
After the ceremony, treat your guests to a memorable cocktail hour on the back patio of the golf club. Overlooking the sprawling golf course, this picturesque setting offers the perfect backdrop for mingling, laughter, and raising toasts to the newlyweds. I also love that the cocktail hour can take place outside but also be covered in case of rain! The view of the golf course is beautiful!
Fox Chapel Golf Club Weddings – The Receptions!
As the evening unfolds, transition seamlessly into the reception festivities. Fox Chapel Golf Club offers a really unique layout for their wedding receptions, which can host up to 300 people. The event is usually split between the Dining Hall, Courtyard, and Dance Hall. The cookie table has it’s own ROOM, too! The wedding couple typically places their head table down the middle between the two dining spaces between the columns. I love this setup, because it makes for visually interesting backdrops between the rooms, some quiet space for guests during dancing, and the ability for all of the guests to see the wedding couple during toasts.
Dancing takes place in the adjacent Dance Hall, which has ample space for a band or DJ. Guests at wedding receptions at the Golf Club typically meander through the rooms to suit their tastes – dancing, relaxing in the courtyard, or enjoying a cocktail on the back patio.
Family Photo Locations at the Club
Fox Chapel Golf Club offers a plethora of pretty locations for capturing cherished moments with your loved ones. From family photos on the grand front stairs to intimate shots on the back patio during cocktail hour, every corner of this venue offers a picturesque backdrop for your wedding album. I also have photographed lots of family photos inside of the club before guest arrival – I especially love the Dance Hall, balcony area, or the Fireplace in the Dining Room.
