I always tell my engagement couples to wear their favorite outfit second at their session. That’s for a reason! Usually, the session just gets BETTER and BETTER as we shoot, so you want to end in your favorite outfit. This session – exactly the same way! As you look through the images, you’ll see that they just keep getting better and better as we photographed their love on the Pittsburgh bridges. And that light – AMAZING!
A great way to get good photos on the Pittsburgh yellow bridges (Roberto Clemente, Andy Warhol, Rachel Carson) – A PIRATES GAME! On game day, the Roberto Clemente bridge is closed so that the game attendees can walk across the bridge to the game safely. However, once everyone is inside the stadium and the ball game is going… the bridge STAYS CLOSED! This means that you can play in the street all by yourself for those amazing engagement photos and not have to worry about oncoming traffic. Talk about a win!
We started Tori and Clay’s session on the North Shore near the Arconic Corporate Center – a favorite starting point of mine. We walked along the Andy Warhol Bridge and the river walk for photos that included the downtown Pittsburgh skyline. After they changed into their second outfit, we stuck to the city side of the river and got that gorgeous sunset, the time on the Roberto Clemente Bridge, and a great view of PNC Park all lit up for the baseball game!
