Brrrrr it was cold! But the sun was shining and Cole was ready to pop the question to his girlfriend, Nina (a true beauty Miss Nina!!)
Cole and I planned for him to propose on one of the Lake Elizabeth bridges at Allegheny Commons West Park, but in the winter time there are not a lot of people out walking in the park. How could we make it look normal?
Cole had a great idea AND the weather was on his side. Since it was a sunny day, there were a few people out walking and jogging in the park, so my presence wasn’t totally abnormal. On top of that, Cole told Nina that they were going to a brewery that was just on the other side of the park, so walking through made sense.
We crossed paths on the bridge and he set off on one knee to ask her to marry him, and she was THRILLEDI! With a huge YES they were all smiles, hugs, and kisses. We took advantage of the pretty sun to get some great photos of the two of them together and really showcased that gorgeous cushion cut ring that graced Nina’s left hand. Super sparkly! She couldn’t stop staring!
Perhaps my favorite part of the proposal photography time together was the very end where Nina just couldn’t wait to FaceTime her best friend. We set it up so that I was the one that called, and so I panned up to Nina standing there showing off her new ring and smiling with Cole. It was such a fun surprise and her friend was so thrilled for her – true, genuine joy all around.
Congrats, Cole and Nina! Call me for the wedding!
