Anna and Michael are the coolest! They are so relaxed and fun to be around. They brought a great joy to their wedding day and they had a wonderful party at Soldiers and Sailors with their friends! Both the ceremony and reception were at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall, so they were able to have everything in one location for their guests. They got ready for the day at the Wyndham University Place, and we setup their first look next to the Cathedral of Learning. They both said to me after the wedding that you couldn’t tell how windy it was from the wedding photos – I was working hard to keep things under control!
They were blessed with beautiful spring blossoms on part of the University of Pittsburgh campus and we definitely took advantage of those. Anna says that those photos are her favorite from the wedding day!
Her coral dress color mixed with colorful flowers by Rosebud Floral really showed off the spring vibe, and her dress was a beaded stunner by Blanc de Blanc bridal store here in Pittsburgh. The reception at Soldiers and Sailors was DJed by the wonderful DJ Jess, who kept the party going late into the evening, even overcoming a firemen appearance at the venue. The staff at Soldiers and Sailors were wonderful the entire wedding day, and our vendor meal was even great, thanks to catering by Chef and I Catering! The handmade cake had a little figuring showing off their kitty, and was created by Cakes by Colby. See Jane Blush’s Clare made sure that Anna’s makeup was flawless, and the string lights by EF Lighting highlighted the venue and drew your eye upward to the cool art deco ceiling inside of Soldiers and Sailors Hall. This was a great wedding ceremony and reception at Soldiers and Sailors – I love working there!
