WEDDINGS AT THE GRAND RESORT
Photographing weddings at The Grand Resort always starts with a little pampering and relaxation! You can hit up the spa earlier in your wedding week to really get ready for the big day. On your wedding day, The Grand Resort has large conference rooms and guest rooms where you can lay out your wedding gear and prepare for the event.
When I photographed weddings at The Grand Resort, my brides love to use the large conference space directly upstairs of the reception venue. These rooms are large for bridesmaids gear and have plenty of windows for natural light. However, for some more "grand" scenery to get into the wedding dress, I chose to use the reception room privately and really take advantage of the huge windows and elegant decor.
Getting ready for your wedding day at the grand resort
I always love a combination between an indoor reception at a beautiful ballroom and an outdoor ceremony in the sunshine. The Grand Resort was no exception! Sapphire and Lace set up a beautiful arch under a large shaded tree, and hung pretty singular roses from the tree branches. Although it was hot, the tree provided some shade for the wedding ceremony and the sunshine added a beautiful addition to the wedding photos – I can’t be mad about that!

After a heartfelt ceremony, the weddings celebrations continue with a reception filled with laughter, love, and lots of dancing. A weddings band can keep the dance floor packed all night long, playing a mix of your favorite songs. The ballroom is able to hold a large guest count and also have an incredible dance floor, something that you may be looking for if you are hosting a large wedding reception at The Grand Resort.
The wedding space also has an elegant, classic feel to add to your decor and a built in bar to access for guests.
At the end of the wedding reception, you and your guests can easily head outside to the front entrance valet area of the resort for a sparkler exit. A classic way to end the wedding evening!

One of the standout aspects of weddings at The Grand Resort is the incredible service provided by the wedding team. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and every detail was taken care of. Their kindness and attentiveness is always appreciated, and they play a significant role in making wedding days special.

The Grand Resort Weddings – Beautiful and Classic ohio venue
When I photograph weddings at The Grand Resort - I get a good workout! There are just so many spaces to utilize for wedding photos that I feel like I may walk over 20,000 steps in a single day.
I love the front entrance valet area, because it has the big "The Grand Resort" sign that is great to highlight the venue's name. The wedding reception space can also photograph beautifully when it's set and the candles are lit. Another interior spot that I love is the med spa staircase, which is elegant and a great backup on a rainy wedding day for classic photos.
On the exterior of The Grand Resort, the golf course is huge and offers tons of trees and open space for a wide variety of locations. One of the greens with a water pond is very near to the resort, and can be used as a photo backdrop without having to travel too far.
And last - but not least - you MUST have photos at the Roman Baths if you are having a wedding at The Grand Resort. Photos with the columns and pool area are critical to any wedding gallery here. I like to photograph couples in this space after the main pool closes for the evening. It allows for less guests in the photos and the cool evening lights to illuminate the space. Creative and fun!
