Thinking about a creative location for your engagement photos? How about a place where you love to spend time? For Kait and Garion, that was their local wine bar in Lawrenceville. The owner was great (and a wonderful friend of theirs), so we had some special permission to come in early for their engagement session. A glass of wine at 11am? Sure! Why not?

We wanted their session to feel like them hanging out – but elevated. Some fun poses mixed with some casual laughter, and I think we nailed it. I loved the challenge of working somewhere new!! After we photographed them inside of the wine bar, we headed right down the street to the front gate of the Allegheny Cemetery and photographed them with the architecture and iron gates.

Coming into this session I was a little nervous about the challenge, but I love something that sparks creativity and forces me outside of my comfort zone!
